These Terms of Use govern your use of Lexora. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Lexora

Lexora is a daily word discovery app. It shows meaningful words from languages around the world, along with short meanings, deeper notes, selected reflective stories, favorites, widgets, and shareable word cards.

Lexora is intended for personal discovery, reflection, and general reference.

Lexora is not a dictionary replacement, academic linguistic source, translation service, exam preparation tool, or language course.

2. Word Content

Lexora’s word meanings, cultural notes, origin notes, usage notes, and reflective stories are provided for general informational and reflective purposes.

We try to use careful and respectful wording, especially around culture, language, and origin. However, language is complex and meanings can vary by region, context, and speaker.

Reflective stories are short literary scenes inspired by selected words. They should not be understood as factual cultural history, official etymology, or a statement about how a culture or group of people thinks or behaves.

4. Subscriptions and Lifetime Purchase

Lexora Premium may be offered as:

Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are managed through your Apple ID. Your subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase that unlocks Lexora Premium features for the lifetime of the app, subject to these Terms and continued app availability.

5. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Lexora does not process payment card details directly.

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies. You can request a refund through Apple’s official refund process.

6. Restore Purchases

If you purchased Lexora Premium and it is not active in the app, you can use Restore Purchases. Restore requires the Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Lexora’s app design, interface, branding, word notes, reflective stories, and original content are protected by intellectual property rights.

You may use Lexora for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share word cards generated by the app for personal sharing, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute Lexora’s content as a competing product or database.

9. No Warranty

Lexora is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We aim to provide a stable and thoughtful experience, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or fully accurate in every linguistic or cultural detail.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexora and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to the App

We may update, modify, add, or remove features over time. We may also update the word archive, notes, stories, pricing, or Premium feature set.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.

13. Apple Standard Terms

Your use of Lexora is also subject to Apple’s App Store terms and applicable Apple policies.
